Seven years in the Marine Corps — including combat deployments — shaped how I approach everything. That attention to detail doesn't switch off. It followed me out of the service and straight into the tattoo chair.

I started tattooing because I wanted to make things that last. Not just technically — though clean lines and proper technique matter enormously — but emotionally. A tattoo is one of the few things a person carries with them every single day for the rest of their life. That's not something I take lightly.

My favorite part of this job is the conversation. There's something that happens in the chair — you start talking, walls come down, and it turns into something that feels almost like a two-way therapy session. I get to know my clients on a real, personal level, and that connection makes the work mean more.

My clients come from all different places in life, but they share one thing — they've got a story worth telling. Whether you're sitting in the chair for the first time and don't know where to start, or you're a collector adding to a years-long journey, I meet you where you are. Together, we'll create the piece that sticks with you forever.

Combat Ink is based out of  Vienna Tattoo Studio in Vienna, VA and serves clients from across the DMV area. Sessions are by appointment. Walk-ins are welcome when availability allows, but booking ahead guarantees your time and gives us the space to design something right.
